Jason William Cox, 35, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on March 28, 2015, unexpectedly while visiting family and friends in his hometown of Cocoa, Florida.

Funeral proceedings will begin with a viewing at 5:00 p.m. and the celebration of life will follow at 06:00 p.m. on Monday April 6, 2015. Service location will be at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.

Jason William Cox, 35, of Salem, Oregon, passed away on March 28, 2015, unexpectedly while visiting family and friends in his hometown of Cocoa, Florida.

Jason William Cox was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 21, 1979. He later moved to Florida with his family and graduated from Cocoa High School in 1997. Jason entered into the Army as a Military Policeman in 1999. Jason served in the Army until 2003. He continued his education at Saint Leo University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2006.

Jason worked as a Law Enforcement Officer for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for 7 years. Prior to his career with the BLM he worked for the Department of the Defense as a federal game warden. Jason loved his job as a police officer and was a K9 officer for the BLM as well as serving on the Honor Guard.

Jason enjoyed spending time with family and friends, air boating in his hometown of Cocoa, watching NASCAR and playing golf. Jason's oldest daughter Kaylynn Marie (18), Brody Jason (4) and Tessa Mae (2) were his pride and joy, Jason was an incredible Daddy who his children loved and cherished.
Jason is survived by his three children Kaylynn, Brody & Tessa, and his brother Joshua Cox. Jason is preceded in death by his loving parents Elmer and Nola Cox.
